Anaconda police have been searching the landfill near Rocker since Tuesday morning but have yet to find any trace of the missing woman. As many as twenty policeman were on duty early on, but that number has gone down by half as the remaining pile of garbage to sift through has diminished. The search will be put on hold over the weekend and half of next week while landfill employees are gone for training. Meanwhile police will continue to dig through about ten feet to the left and right of this pylon before calling off the search.

"We met with the people from the landfill and they say this is where the Anaconda garbage was being dumped for the last few months," said Tim Barkell, Chief of Anaconda Police. "We found a few things that we've tested with our kits and it's all come back as animal blood or tissue."

The decision to comb the landfill was based on a tip from a sanitation worker who said they had picked up an unusually heavy trash receptacle near the time and place Salle had been reported missing.
