Details are beginning to unfold in an incident that drew law enforcement to the Three Forks area this afternoon.
Two men were at the Three Forks interchange when they reportedly flagged down a passerby and said their friend had been shot in the leg, prompting a call to 911, according to Gallatin County Undersheriff Dan Springer. However, there is no indication that anyone was shot, according to authorities.
The men appear to be transient and were reportedly headed to Idaho Falls.
The sheriff's department and Montana Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
The men were being questioned at around 5:45 p.m. by authorities in Three Forks. Authorities are still trying to learn more information about what happened.
