Bannack ice skating should open Dec. 26th depending on conditions

Bannack State Park is closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day but should open on December 26th with access to the ice-skating pond nearby.
If weather conditions permit, the Bannack State Park ice-skating pond should be ready for use.
Ice skates are available in all sizes at the park.
Skating will be from 11am to 5pm.
The pond is located at the east end of Bannack.
A maintenance shop will be turned into a warming house if you get too cold.
Park staff asks that you call ahead of time to make sure the pond is open.
