BILLINGS- The 79-year-old Billings nun critically injured in a beating by a home invader has been transferred from the intensive care unit at St. Vincent Healthcare to a different area of the hospital to continue her recovery.
The Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth released a short statement early Friday morning regarding the improving conditions of both Clara Scherr, 79, and Mary Vicentia Maronick,90, who were transported to the hospital Wednesday following a violent home invasion.
"Our two Sisters are doing well. They are women of deep faith and resilience. Their healing will continue. There is a lot of love in Billings that they are experiencing and that they greatly appreciate."
