Billings police investigate suspicious death

BILLINGS - Shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday, the Billings Police Department responded to a report of gun shots at the intersection of Galway Drive and Hawthorne Lane in Billings Heights.
When officers arrived they saw a red Pontiac Grand Am parked in the front yard of 1137 Galway Drive.
According to Billings Police Detective Sgt. Mitch Hart, the Grand Am appeared to have left the roadway and crashed into the front yard fence.
A body was located north of the vehicle laying on the street.
Medical staff advised police that the individual was deceased.
Officers secured the scene and the Billings Police Investigation Team was notified.
The victim's identity is being withheld pending notification of family.
Currently investigators are questioning two people.
