HELENA - A Bozeman man claimed a $40,000 Powerball prize with a ticket purchased at Casey's Corner Store in Bozeman.

Wesley Biggar almost forgot to make his lottery purchase and made a trip out at 7:15 to pick up his "Lucky 7" tickets at Casey's Corner Store, according to a release from the Montana Lottery. He typically plays the same Powerball numbers all the time, but used quick pick this time. It paid off. He matched 4 white balls and the Powerball and with the Power Play option, he multiplied his $10,000 win to $40,000.

Wesley plans to purchase Christmas presents for his family and take a Vegas trip in January with his winnings.

The Powerball jackpot is estimated at $40 million for Saturday's drawing.
