The Bozeman Police Department says with the New Years' activities, it was quite busy for law enforcement last night. The city had 108 calls for service during the New Years' eve celebration, significantly up from last Saturday's 68 calls.
Bozeman Police Sergeant Andy Knight says that last night would compare to an average home football game night. There were several citations and arrests, with the most citations, 14 of them for open container violations.
Gallatin County Sheriff's office Sergeant Jim Anderson says it was a typical weekend night. The sheriff's office did have increased patrols in Big sky, and Anderson says the evening went fairly smoothly.
