Police will be keeping a closer eye on drivers starting Monday, Sept. 16, making sure the city Hands Free Ordinance is being followed.
According to a press release, the Bozeman Police Department Traffic Enforcement Division will conduct increased patrols.
Officials warn that distracted driving is unsafe and increases the risk of getting into a crash.
Drivers who are violating the ordinance could face a $100 fine for the municipal infraction.
