BOZEMAN - Bozeman police are looking for information about vandalism that occurred at the Bozeman Sculpture Park, which is adjacent to the Bozeman Library, last weekend.

Three sculptures were damaged and the park's sign and self-guided maps were stolen. The collective damage is estimated at $8,000 and a report has been filed with the Bozeman Police Department.

"We are sickened that anyone would destroy public art. We support the authorities' search for the person or persons responsible for this destruction and appropriate consequences for those who tried to ruin something that belongs to all of Bozeman," Ron Farmer, Bozeman Library Board of Trustees Chairman, said.

A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of anyone found accountable for this damage. If you have information you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 586-1131 or the Bozeman Police Department at 582-2000.
