BOZEMAN - Homeless people in Bozeman will have a bigger and better place to spend the chilly winter nights this season.
The Human Resources Development Council announced Tuesday that the warming center is moving to a new location at the corner of Griffin and Industrial Drive. The new building is much bigger than the previous location on the fairgrounds and will offer seperate living areas for men, women and families. There will also be a work area with computers for guests to search for jobs and places to live.
The warming center relies entirely on community support. A fundraiser will be held on November 10. Its the 2nd annual Flying Sign Fundraiser. Volunteers will hit the streets "flying signs" and collecting money for the warming center.
