BOZEMAN - Saturday, October 12th, marks the beginning of the sixth season of the Bozeman Winter Farmer' Market.
Shoppers can buy seasonal vegetables, eggs, cheese, artisan meats, honey, goat milk soap, wool, local breads and coffee and even breakfast at the Emerson Cultural Center Ballroom from 9 .am. to noon.
Going from October all the way through April, the winter farmer's market dates for 2013-2014 are: October 12th and 26th, November 9th and 23rd, January 4th and 18th, February 1st and 15th, March 1st, 15th and 29th and April 12th.
Each of the markets will feature live music, coloring for kids and drawings for Bozeman Winter Farmer's Market tote bags filled with produce from featured vendors.
The Farmer's Market fan Cards will continue to be valid this season. When shoppers leave the market with their purchases, volunteers will stamp their Fan Cards.
Cards which are filled with six stamps by noon on March 29th, will be entered in a drawing for prizes from some of the Market's sponsors.
Sponsors include The Community Food Co-op, Gallatin Valley Botanical, Montana Parent, The Nova Cafe, Planet Natural, Tart and Zone 4 Magazine.
