Breaking: Butte family finds missing son

BUTTE - Brendan Barrett has been found, said his father, Evan.

Brendan, who is diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, was last seen on Sunday around 1 a.m., when friends dropped him off at the corner of Montana and Silver streets. It is not unusual for him to be gone throughout the night. He cannot drive and typically walks around late, his family said.

Evan Barrett filed a missing person's report Monday night, and Brendan is now home. We'll bring you more information as it becomes available.
