BUTTE - Mollie Kirk, known for her works as the director of Butte Celebrations, was sentenced in district court on Thursday for felony drunken driving.
Kirk, 61, was arrested for driving under the influence last year on the day before St. Patrick's Day.
In April, Kirk initially pleaded not guilty to the charge and was scheduled to appear in court. She agreed to change her plea and will serve 13 months in the Montana Department of Corrections followed by a one year probation, according to court documents. She was fined $1,160.
Kirk is ordered to turn herself in to the custody of the sheriff for transfer to the Department of Corrections. Kirk was awarded one day credit for time served.
