BUTTE - Last week, law enforcement had a brief standoff at an uptown Butte home, and this week that same home was ransacked with an estimated $10,000 worth of damage.
On Feb. 12, Butte resident Jesse Harrison, 26, reportedly slashed a woman with a bottle outside a 17th Street home. Butte Silver Bow Law Enforcement says he then went inside and attempted to start a fire in an attached garage. Law enforcement entered the home and arrested Harrison.
He is currently being held in detention for attempted deliberate homicide.
Then, at around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, law enforcement received a report about a burglary at the same home.
Several items in the house were found broken and smashed, including a $3,000 couch and fish tank.
Law enforcement is investigating the incident.
