Butte law enforcement looking for walkaway from pre-release center

Authorities are attempting to locate a walkaway from the Butte Pre-Release Center.

Matt Daniel Griffin, age 51, was reported missing Saturday when his employer reported he did not show up for his 5p.m. work shift.

Griffin is Native American and 5'10''. He weighs 235 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair. Both of his arms are tattooed primarily with skulls and eagles.

Griffin's suspected destination and mode of transportation are unknown, according to the Butte Pre-Release Center. Griffin is charged in Cascade County with 20 years attempted robbery and two years for theft.

All attempts to locate Griffin have been unsuccessful
