BUTTE - A Butte man is facing two felony counts of assaulting a peace officer after his arrest Monday afternoon.
Taylor Miller, 20, was causing a disturbance in the 3400 block of St. Ann Street, according to Butte-Silver Bow Sheriff Ed Lester. Miller was reportedly being very combative and aggressive, and people in the area contacted law enforcement.
When two officers arrived on the scene, Miller attacked them, Lester said. Authorities were forced to use a Taser on Miller. No one involved was seriously injured.
Miller is also charged with one count each of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
He is being held on a $50,000 bond.
