BUTTE - A man was arrested after reportedly tracking down another man with a baseball bat after his dog was hit by a truck.
Rafael Zarzoza, 27, was arrested on Saturday for Assault with a Weapon and Disorderly Conduct.
He was reportedly driving on Galena and Excelsior when his dog jumped out of his vehicle.
The dog was allegedly hit by a pick-up truck and later died from its injuries.
Zarzoza reportedly tracked down the vehicle near the Montana Tech HPER Complex. He walked into the building during a volleyball game with a bat and located the man driving the truck.
The man took off running and three people, including a Montana Tech employee dialed 911 to report the incident.
"As soon as the gentleman entered the building, (they) stopped him and told him that they were calling the police as he was in an aggressive behavior," says HPER Complex Manager Nick Bowsher.
Bowsher says no one can go through the entrance checkpoint of the building without a pass or identification.
