BUTTE - Wyoming Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that resulted in the death of a Butte man on Saturday, according to Trooper Adam Bruning.

Daniel Barto, 27, was moving with his wife and two kids from Butte to Austin, Texas. While driving through Wyoming, the family's truck was struck by another vehicle from behind, 20 miles north of Casper, according to Bruning. The vehicle hit the median, rolled onto the opposite side of the highway and landed upside down.

Barto's wife and children, ages 2 and 18 months, were hospitalized and released soon after the crash.

Highway patrol is suspicious the driver who caused the crash was impaired at the time. Bruning said they are awaiting blood test results.
