BUTTE-A Butte woman that suffered multiple gunshot wounds during an armed robbery has been released from the hospital.
The 23 year old victim was alone in her families home when the shooting occurred Thursday night.
An armed robber approached the Mining City Taxi business and home at 227 Front Street with a loaded revolver.
He reportedly demanded that the victim lead him to money.
At one point she turned to flee from the suspect and was shot 4 times in the leg and lower back area.
The victim was released from St. James Healthcare Saturday afternoon and is surrounded with family and friends.
There are still 2 bullets in her thigh and another bullet has been removed.
A 4th bullet went through her tissue.
The victim's mother says her daughter will be meeting with doctors soon regarding her gunshot wounds.
