BUTTE-A Butte-Silver Bow Animal Control Officer pleaded not guilty in city court to a second offense DUI while driving an animal control vehicle.
Animal Control Officer Charles Dick was arrested for misdemeanor DUI on Tuesday.
Around 1:15 that afternoon a report was called into law enforcement about an animal control vehicle striking a fence at 6195 Albany Avenue.
Law enforcement found the Animal Control Officer at the Animal Control office off Centennial Drive where they cited him for misdemeanor Driving Under the Influence.
Dick refused a breathalyzer test but a blood draw test was taken and results have not yet been issued.
He is also charged with misdemeanor failure to remain at an accident scene.
Dick posted an $885 bond.
An omnibus hearing is scheduled for May 7th.
