Butte-Silver Bow County stage 1 fire restrictions lifted

Stage 1 fire restrictions have been lifted for Silver Bow County.
Fire restrictions on private and county property in Butte city limits have been rescinded also.
The restrictions were lifted yesterday by the Butte-Silver Bow Fire Warden.
Hunters and recreationalists should still put out campfires to the point where ashes are cold to the touch.
Smokers still need to dispose of their cigarettes properly.
County residents are encouraged to speak with local fire departments before doing any outdoor burning.
