Butte middle high school students will give back to the community in honor of Martin Luther King.

Students at East Middle School will clean up graffiti at Father Sheehan Park, according to Gary Corbin with the Community Enrichment Department in Butte. The Community Enrichment Department is providing the supplies, according to Corbin.

The students came up with the service project idea because they wanted to give back to Butte. The Community Enrichment Department found an area that needed work. At 10:15a.m.on Monday, the students will start cleaning. Over 100 students are expected to help in the effort, according to Corbin.
