Car hits Montana house one week after armed standoff at same home

BILLINGS - Just one week after an armed standoff on Billings south side, a car slammed into the same home on the corner of South 28th Street and 3rd Avenue South.

The driver of a white Chevy Malibu hopped the curb at 304 South 28th tearing up the lawn and coming to stop on the edge of the home.

Airbags deployed, but when emergency crews arrived, the vehicle was empty. The car received extensive front end damage, but police say no one in the house was injured.
