The CEO of Delta, Richard Anderson, told those gathered in Butte that passenger travel on Delta flights in Montana grows almost in lockstep with growth in the state's economy. He says that growth is resulting in more flights.
Delta earned applause from the crowd when it announced that the company's direct flight from Atlanta to Bozeman will take place on a daily basis beginning in the summer of 2014. Eric Phillips, a Delta executive and Montana native who appeared with Anderson said the company will also continue and add other flights in Montana in 2014.
