BOZEMAN - Bozeman city commissioners will take up the topic of paying for ongoing soil gas tests in the Bridger Creek Subdivision, during their Monday night meeting.
Commissioners will vote on authorizing the City Manager to sign a task order to pay for cleanup in the Phase Three neighborhood of the subdivision.
The task order would cost nearly $546,000 and would allow Tetra Tech to design and install soil gas mitigation systems and monitor the indoor air quality in homes once the systems are in.
The money would also go toward understanding the nature of indoor air and air quality underneath houses in Phase Two and Phase Three.
Commissioners will also consider using $600,000 from the Trails, Open Space and Parks Bond to pay for paving a little over two miles of a trail to the ‘M'.
