CODY - Two Cody teenagers will spend the rest of their lives in prison following their sentencing today on charges they killed three people in Clark, WY earlier this year.
According to the Cody Enterprise, Cody High School students Tanner VanPelt and Stephen Hammer changed their plea in District Court to guilty to three counts of murder in the first degree as part of a plea agreement with the state.
District Judge Stephen Cranfill sentenced VanPelt to three consecutive sentences of life without parole in the shooting deaths of Ildiko Freitas, 40, and her parents Janos, 69, and Hildegard Volgyesi, 70.
