KALISPELL - A Columbia Falls woman, shot multiple times during a SWAT standoff earlier this week, is in slightly better condition as of Saturday.
54-year-old Michelle Gentry was moved from critical to critical-but-stable condition around 11 a.m. on Saturday.
SWAT team members were dispatched to Gentry's home on Thursday afternoon, and tried to negotiate with her for several hours.
Gentry, who was believed to be suicidal, eventually came out of her house, carrying a handgun and pointing it at Sheriff's deputies.
According to the Flathead County Sheriff's Department, she was struck with two rounds, fired by a SWAT Deputy, and then taken to the hospital.
Gentry was the owner of former Kalispell business, Machallie G's.
