A 16-year-old Corvallis boy was airlifted to Missoula on Tuesday afternoon after he darted out in front of a Jeep on his bike and was hit.
The Montana Highway Patrol says it happened just after noon on Woodside Cutoff near Corvallis.
The boy was riding his bike in front of the Jeep when he tried to cross to the other side of the road.
Troopers say the driver of the Jeep was able to slow down, but the boy was hit at between 30 to 35 miles an hour.
The boy was not wearing a helmet and suffered serious injuries.
MHP says the driver was not at fault in this crash.
