MISSOULA - Firefighters made quick work of a fire that hit a home in the 1600 block of Idaho Street in Missoula early Wednesday morning.
The Missoula City Fire Department was called to the small, single family home at around 6:25 a.m., according to Battalion Chief Dave Wolter.
No injuries have been reported, and the homeowner was able to escape the smoky blaze, although some animals may still be inside the home.
Three engines and a ladder truck were called to the fire. Missoula police along with an ambulance were also on the scene.
A fire investigator is now trying to determine what sparked the blaze.
