The Government may be re-open but the Republican side says it's still reeling over the lack of negotiation over Obamacare.
U.S. Congressman Steve Daines says he will continue to work to repeal Obamacare and curb federal spending. Until that happens, Daines says, last night's conclusion is only a temporary fix.
"Well, if history is an indicator of the future, you can't be very optimistic looking at how these institutions have failed," Daines said.
"Perhaps there have been some lessons learned over the last three weeks. I hope so - that we will see adults return to the negotiating table on both sides."
"There's plenty of finger-pointing on both sides right now and we need to come and focus on the problems at hand and start having a debate on these issues in front of the American people," he said.
We asked Daines if he's ready to make an announcement about running for U.S. Senate. He says he's still talking to family members about it, but promises a decision sooner than later.
