Last year over 40 Dillon residents participated in a Remembrance Walk for victims of domestic violence, and it's happening again tonight.
The Remembrance Walk is to honor anyone that has lost their life to domestic violence in light of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
The Women's Resource Community Support Center in Dillon is organizing the event.
Participants will gather at the Women's Resource Center at 221 ½ S. Idaho Street around 6pm.
By 6:15 they will begin walking in silence for about 4 blocks with candles.
A closing statement will be made, followed with a blow out of candles.
The entire event should last around 40 minutes and anyone is welcome to participate.
