KALISPELL - A Columbia Falls woman admitted to stealing from her employer during a Friday appearance in Flathead District Court.

Linda Williams was a pharmacist at the Whitefish Walgreens store, but has since given up her pharmacist license after it was discovered she stole more than $800 worth of prescription drugs from her employer.

Store managers discovered that hundreds of dollars worth of hydrocodone, alprazolam and amphetamines were missing in February 2012.

Williams admitted in court that she was addicted to the drugs and has agreed to reimburse the store for the stolen drugs.

She faces up to five years in prison and a $50,000 fine at her upcoming sentencing.
