BOZEMAN - What began as a launch party for the Coravelli Modeling Agency in Bozeman has turned into something very different - a fundraiser to help fight childhood cancer.
A sidewalk at Bogert Park isn't quite the same as a fashion runway, but under the watchful eye of Denise Coravelli, aspiring models at the agency are serious about their work. Proceeds from their efforts are going to benefit child cancer research and support for the "Bozeman 3," three local children who are battling cancer - Caden, Stella-Blue and Allistair.
"I hope that they know that there is so much love and support from Bozeman and for all around them, and how much and how important they are to us...How important they are to all of us and that we are giving this and doing this because we care too," Coravelli said.
The Downtown Fashion Show is being held Saturday, May 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Baxter ballroom. Tickets are $20-$30. Musical entertainment will be provided by Wren's Remedy.
