Fire west of Bozeman burning in a forested area

While we are still learning the details, officials from Madison County tell us that the fire, that's generating all the smoke west of Bozeman is burning in a forested area. We have a photographer on the way to the fire to get the latest information and will have it for you for our 5:30 p.m. news.

Currently there is a Red Flag Warning for Madison, Beaverhead and Jefferson counties, for extreme fire danger, due to gusty winds, dry conditions and warm temperatures through midnight tonight.
