Fishing access sites along Madison River remain closed for flooding

BOZEMAN - Ennis and Valley Garden Fishing Access Sites remain closed due to safety concerns caused by flooding.

Water and ice from the Madison River continues to flood and collect at each of the sites, according to Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks. They will remain closed to the public until further notice.

Ice on rivers is extremely unstable, according to FWP. Recreationists are urged to use caution around any bodies of water in southwest Montana throughout the winter and spring.

Ennis and Valley Garden FAS are just south of the Ennis along Highway 287.
