An Anaconda woman accused of raping an inmate at the START facility is being accused of attempting to contact one of her alleged victims.
According to court documents, Tisha Brunell, a former nurse at the Montana State Prison, posted bond and was released from the Deer Lodge County jail in March.
County Attorney Ben Krakowka says Brunell violated the terms of her release.
According to an affidavit, Brunell contacted Stanley LeBeau - a former inmate at the Montana State Prison and asked him to contact one of the victims and get him to not testify against her.
Court documents state Brunell sent LeBeau the victim's name, place of employment, and phone number asking him to bump into the victim.
LeBeau reported this information to law enforcement and they set up a sting to see if Brunell would go through with attempts to contact the victim.
Through a series of events it became evident Brunell was planning on contacting the victim to convince him not to testify against her.
We will continue to follow this story and update as more information becomes available.
