Cool weather continues to grip Montana today as an upper level Low is slowly spinning up into southern Canada.
I have seen a few thunderstorms in central Montana today with heavy pea size hail and a few cold air funnel clouds in Meagher County but these have been rare weather events so far today.
The other big weather news is the devastating flooding in Southern Alberta. Major flooding is occurring from Banff National Park to Calgary to Lethbridge to Medicine Hat and reports from CTV and CBC say it is worse than the 2005 flood event.
Looking at our overall weather pattern into next week, a High pressure ridge will build in and with a big rise in temperatures beginning Wednesday of next week. I'll have a complete weekend and 7 day forecast for you tonight at 5:30pm and 10pm on KBZK and KXLF.
