The MSU athletics department is calling on Bobcat Nation to help one of its own.
Conner Firstman is the man behind the camera for MSU sports.
But the 21-year-old film student is also battling cancer and has undergone numerous surgeries and chemo.
Family members say Conner's spirit is unstoppable. He has been seen entertaining the crowd at a football game, going "Gangnam Style" just two months after having part of his lung removed.
Friends are putting together a fundraiser on Friday night to help him pay for medical bills.
Elias Harmon, the organizer of the fundraiser, said, "We feel like Connor has impacted us and given us a lot to look forward to during the football season and lots of things to help us look forward to the football season with his videos. It is something we just wanted to give back, it's something, frankly we're excited to do for him."
An auction is being held Friday night, September 13th, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the C'Mon Inn.
Thousands of dollars worth of items have been donated so a long list of items are up for bid.
