Fundraiser to be held for Harrison explosion victim Laura Lee Sheehan

A community event being planned to raise money for the Harrison woman seriously injured when her house exploded two months ago to the day. The explosion is being blamed on a propane leak.
Laura Lee Sheehan received burns over 70 percent of her body. As of tonight, she remains in a burn unit in Salt Lake City. According to her Caring Bridge website which is updated by her mother, Laura Lee has under-gone at least 6 surgeries. Her burns are being grafted with healthy skin taken from unburned areas of her body.
In addition to her burns, several sections of Laura Lee's back and pelvis were cracked when a piece of wall fell on her. Her family is hoping those injuries are healing enough that Laura Lee may soon be able to sit up and travel in a wheel chair. Since the explosion she's been
The fundraiser planned for Laura Lee will be held Saturday night at the Eagles Club in downtown Bozeman. There's a spaghetti dinner and a silent auction from 6-8 pm.
