BOZEMAN - Governor Steve Bullock toured parts of Bozeman High on Thursday morning as a part of the his "back to school " tour.
Bullock has been visiting schools across the state. On Thursday, in Bozeman he learned about the dual enrollment program in which high school students can take college level classes, pay a little more and get MSU credit.
Governor Bullock wants to increase college graduation rates to 60 percent and he thinks dual enrollment is a way to accomplish that. He hopes the state will offer incentives so that dual enrollment grows.
"So that no matter wherever you are throughout the state, what's happening in Gallatin County is happening in other places," Governor Bullock said. "Get more of our kids so they're getting those college courses."
