BILLINGS - It's not quantity, it's quality.
That was the wrestling motto for this year's Forsyth Dogies and they proved it Saturday night, winning their third straight State B/C team championship.
The Dogies sent only 10 wrestlers to State, but pulled out a fantastic finish when Matt Weber won a major decision 10-0 in the evening's second-to-last match. Choteau still had a chance to steal the team title, but J.J.Werdal needed either a pin or a major decision over Colstrip's Seth Currier. Werdal came up empty on both, although he won the match 8-7. The point spread wasn't' enough for Choteau, which gave way to Forsyth in the team race by a single point, 202-201.
In Class A, Havre won it's first team title in three years with 233.5 points. Sidney finished second with 207.
Great Falls High rolled in as this year's AA favorite and won it convincingly with 263.5 points. Next closest was Billings Skyview with 246.5.
