Ramin Rudeseal, 18, has been charged in Great Falls with stealing a car, driving drunk, and running away from police - again.
In October, Rudeseal was charged one felony count and 11 misdemeanor charges after allegedly running stop signs in a vehicle and fleeing from police; during that incident, he refused to provide a breath test, and failed several field sobriety tests.
The latest incident occurred on January 3rd, shortly after midnight, when police officers responded to a noise complaint at the Great Falls Rescue Mission.
When police arrived, a man told them that he had kicked another man - identified later as Rudeseal - out of his camper trailer truck because he was "causing problems." The man said that moments later, he saw a truck that did not belong to Rudeseal pulling away from the area.
Charging documents state that a police officer spotted the truck traveling along the 200 block of 9th Street North; when he tried to get the driver to stop, the truck sped away, exceeding the speed limit, running a stop sign, and nearly hitting a patrol car.
The truck eventually spun-out on an icy patch of road, and officers apprehended Rudeseal.
The court document states that the officers noted that Rudeseal smelled of alcohol, had bloodshot eyes, and had difficulty standing up due to his apparent intoxication.
Rudeseal is facing one count of felony theft and the following misdemeanors: fleeing from or eluding a peace officer; driving while license suspended or revoked; minor in possession of alcohol; driving without insurance; driving while being declared a habitual traffic offender; driving under the influence, 2nd charge; theft; and failure to stop at a stop sign.
Prosecutors requested that bail be set at $10,000 for Rudeseal.
