Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest employees have something you may want if you're headed into bear country.
Visitors are encouraged to pick up bear-resistant containers before heading into the forest.
These are being provided to eliminate bear habituation, which is when bears become used to feeding or living in human areas.
You can pick up the bear-resistant containers at the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest Offices in Dillon, Wisdom, Wise River, Philipsburg, Butte and Whitehall.
