A Helena woman was arrested for criminal endangerment after discharging a firearm in a home on Tara Court.
According to assistant chief of the Helena Police Department, Steve Hagen, just after 1 p.m. Friday police responded to a call that a woman was inside a home, had discharged a firearm and was threatening to hurt herself.
The bullet went through the front of the house to the outside, but no one inside or out was hurt.
When law enforcement arrived on scene, they heard the gun discharge, but shortly after the woman walked out of the home.
No one else was in the home at the time.
Investigators are not releasing where the bullet landed outside the home and they are not sure how many rounds were discharged.
The woman was arrested and is being held without bond. Criminal endangerment is a felony offense.
Her name has not yet been released.
Details are still being investigated by police.
