MISSOULA - Police are interviewing a 26-year-old man to find out why chemicals used to make homemade explosives were found in his Missoula apartment.
Missoula police officer Chris Odlin told MTN News that the man is currently in Kalispell and is being interviewed over the phone.
Meanwhile, the man's roommate is cooperating with police.
Odlin said the landlord entered the apartment on Monday morning and thought she stumbled upon a meth lab.
She called the Missoula Police Department who determined it was chemicals used to make homemade explosives.
Eight apartments and three trailer homes in the Industry Street area off of West Broadway have been evacuated.
The Missoula Police Department and the ATF are on the scene investigating.
