BUTTE - Butte-Silver Bow is nearing the end of an investigation on Butte's Public Health Officer Terri Hocking.
Hocking was placed on administrative leave in early January, according to Chief Executive Matt Vincent. Hocking allegedly violated certain hiring policies.
The county has conducted most of their interviews in this investigation, according to Vincent. The investigation is expected to be complete by the end of next week or early the following week.
Dan Powers will continue to serve as the Interim Public Health Officer. Powers was appointed by the Board of Health when this investigation began.
