HELENA - The man found hanged in the Musselshell County jail in Roundup, has been identified.
Rudolph Terrazas, 32, of Billings, hanged himself in his cell, according to John Strandell, bureau chief for the Montana Department of Justices Division of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
Workers at the jail found Terrazas on Monday morning just before 11 a.m.
Strandell says Terrazas had been arrested for driving a motor vehicle while suspended and driving with no insurance.
A bench warrant had also been issued for Terrazas in Roosevelt County, for failing to appear.
The DCI is coordinating with the Fergus County Coroner to conduct an inquest into the death.
Fergus County Deputy Coroner Jeremy Bristol says Terrazas's body was embalmed and shipped to a funeral home in Texas.
Strandell said Terrazas was born in San Antonio.
