Judy Slate was born and raised in our nation's capital.
She received a bachelor's degree in radio and TV communication from the George Washington University.
Judy's first job in TV news brought her to the intermountain west to KIFI in Idaho Falls. She started there as a reporter and then became the anchor. Judy has worked at several other stations including KNDU in Kennewick, Washington, WHIO in Dayton, Ohio and KCCI in Des Moines, Iowa.
In 2003 Judy left TV news to be a full-time mom. Her husband's career brought the family to Bozeman last year. She joined KBZK as an anchor/reporter in the fall of 2010.
Judy loves the outdoors, especially in the summer, although you will probably see her with two children skiing at Bridger Bowl this winter.
