MISSOULA - The fate of suspended University of Montana quarterback Jordan Johnson is now in the hands of a Missoula jury.
Closing arguments, complete with numerous objections, were laid out in a packed courtroom and the jury got the case at around 1:15 p.m.
Some of Johnson's teammates were among the throng of spectators in court on Friday, as were many members of the media.
Johnson has been accused of rape in the case after a February 2012 incident. The woman has said that she was raped while Johnson maintains the sex was consensual.
