The Tri-County Fair in Deer Lodge, Montana is coming to a close this evening.

The five-day long event began on Wednesday with showmanship competitions and has concluded every evening with a rodeo performance. Tonight the final event will be a demolition derby starting at 6 p.m.

This year's fair was enjoyed by many, and several commented that it was a successful year for the fair.

"This fair is always a very good event, said William Sharkey. "It's good for the community. It's good for everybody. They do very, very well here."

This year the fair was dedicated to Thomas and Judy Hogan of Gold Greek, Montana. They have been attending and sponsoring the fair for nearly 37 years. This year they actively participated in several events including the final award ceremony for children involved in 4-H. Thomas and Judy helped hand out awards.

"It was a very successful fair and turnout for all the events and rodeo," said Thomas Hogan. "Everything was very good."
